Metal Forming Lubricants

The range of products for metal forming operations includes neat oils, emulsions, dispersions and synthetic products. Our products are custom developed to meet all requirements of metal forming processes, thus guaranteeing the user the highest productivity and quality. The range covers: punching, piercing, forming, tube and wire, cold forming and evaporating stamping oils

Wire Drawing
DRAWLUB RANGE
Emulsions, neat oils, pastes and synthetic lubricants for wire and profile drawing of copper, copper alloys, steel cord and stainless steel.
ISOLUBE RANGE
High performance neat oils and drawing compounds for wire drawing of aluminium and aluminium alloys.
Cold Forming
ISOFORM RANGE
Dispersions, multi-functional neat oils as well as traditional extrusion lubricants for cold- and warm-forming operations on various materials. HT-series is suitable for forming operations on pre-heated materials
Sheet Metal Forming
ISOFORM-S RANGE
The ISOFORM-S range of formulations are for fine blanking and deep drawing, we offer fluids that are mineral oil free as well as high performance neat oils for modern manufacturing lines. Typical examples are: car driveline technology, e-mobility, chassis components, pressure vessels, tubes and flanges. Our cost effective, chlorine based alternatives are in the ISOFORM TD product line
Rolling
ISO-MILL RANGE
High performance lubricants and additives for various cold- and hot-rolling operations, e.g. cold rolling neat oils for roll-forming of sections and seam-welded tubes as well as hot-rolling emulsions for aluminium on continuous casting mills
Blanking And Stamping
ISOLUBE RANGE
Our ISOLUBE technology is for blanking, perforating, crimping and stamping offering a wide range of self-evaporating and thermally vaporising fluids, optimised for manufacturing lines producing heat exchangers and radiators, as well as for air conditioning units. Our range of sheet metal forming fluids provides cost effective, low viscosity, metal forming neat lubricants for many application techniques, that require both, easy-to-clean lubrication and lubricants that are suitable for micro-lubrication.
Forging
DIE FORGENT RANGE
PETROFER’s DIE FORGENT products are water dilutable forging lubricants, and can be used for hot and warm forging operations. They are suitable for both simple and complicated parts made from of steel, aluminum, non-ferrous metal alloys and other technical metals.
When being applied onto the forging tools, or component, the DIE FORGENT Series dilutions form a uniform lubricating film with very good wetting abilities and excellent adhesive properties. This film avoids contact between the forging tool surface and the workpiece
Hot Forming
In high technology component forming such as, high value car body parts, aircraft structures and architectural items new methods of hot forming are being used. This requires the sheet of alloy to be heated to as much as 380 deg C before being transferred into the press. The tooling can also be very complex and is often heated to high temperatures to enable the sheet to be moved into the mould without stretching, deformation or creasing. This process requires special lubricants that can be applied to the sheet before heating and remain with the component strongly adhered to the surface through the forming. PETROFER has special products developed for this technology available upon request.

Metal Forming Lubricants

ISOLUBE V Series are low to medium viscosity, odourless drawing oils, self-evaporating and thermal degreasing types; also used for stamping and profiling and suitable for micro-lubrication.
